Just A Few Questions Worth Asking

If you've thought it, someone else has asked it. Here are the ones that come up most often, answered as plainly as we can.

What does a typical engagement look like?

A conversation first, usually over coffee or a video call. You get a flat-fee proposal with a clear timeline within 48 hours of that first meeting. Once you approve, work begins. You get updates at every milestone, two rounds of revisions, and a final delivery of every file in a format you can use.

What's different from working with a larger agency?

You work directly with Mike from the first conversation to the final file. No account managers. No hand-offs. No explaining your goals twice to someone who wasn't in the first meeting. The context you share on day one is still there on the last day.

Can't I just handle this myself with AI tools?

You can, and AI tools are genuinely useful for getting something on the page quickly. What they don't do is listen to you for an hour, absorb your story, and hand back something that sounds more like you than you could have written yourself. If you've been using AI tools and the result still feels generic, that's usually why.

We're a nonprofit with a limited budget. Can you help?

Yes. We have a flexible engagement model for nonprofits that makes the work accessible when budgets are tight. We also help identify grants and community programs that can offset project costs. Bring your budget to the first conversation and we'll tell you honestly what's possible.

How long does a typical project take?

A simple logo is one to two weeks. A brand framework is one to two weeks. A full website is four to six weeks. Every proposal includes a specific milestone timeline so you know exactly when each phase lands before you commit to anything.

What if I don't know what I need yet?

That's the most common place to start. The first conversation is specifically designed for people who know something isn't working but can't quite name what needs to change. We'll figure it out together. No commitment required to have that conversation.
